Inshore
Over the last 3 years I have increased my keelboat experience at the top level, competing as tactician on many high profile campaigns. Over this period I have had much success and have established myself as a top international tactician.
I sailed the 2003 Admirals Cup with Ben Ainslie and Ian Walker (Rodman 42 for the RORC 1 Team), I was the mainsail trimmer and offshore helmsman, finishing 2nd overall in class.
In June 2005 I was the navigator/Tactician onboard Black Dragon, a Reichel Pugh 77 for the St Tropez Giraglia Race. We finisher 1st and 2nd place inshore and achieved line honors in the offshore. In September we won the Maxi World Championships in Porto Cervo in the Grand Prix Racing Division.
In 2006 I was the navigator onboard TP52 Stay Calm for The Global Championships and Key West Race Week. We won both Key West and The Acura Trophy for the combined series.
Offshore
2001 I skippered the British Team in the Tour de France a la Voile to a win. The core of this crew are now amongst the leading sailors of my age group in the UK. I was the principle helmsman, skipper and campaign head. We finished 1st student entry and 6th in the overall classification.
Following GBR Challenge elimination from the 2002 Louis Vuitton Cup, I sailed the season on a Farr 52 Hollywood Boulevard in Australia as a helmsman / Tactician. The highlight was the Sydney Hobart, finishing 5th overall.
